CFO

UK based PE backed founder led insurance business is seeking a robust Chief Financial Officer. Partnering with the CEO and management team, with a focus on overseeing the finance department across multiple sites, the role involves taking broad responsibility for the strategic direction and continued growth of the business.

This is a highly operational role and the successful candidate will be responsible for professionalising and implementing all systems, processes and controls in order to continue to grow the business as well as participating in Group strategic and tactical planning and decision-making. As a key member of the executive team you will have complete ownership of the financial and operational affairs of the business. Including developing, monitoring, reporting and interpreting relevant business KPIs and associated systems. In addition responsibility for assisting with the identification, assessment, negotiation, due diligence and integration of acquisitions.

We are looking for qualified accountants (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) preferably chartered, with strong technical skills and proven experience as an autonomous CFO in insurance or a similar sector. Whilst not essential, experience taking a Private Equity backed business through to exit is highly beneficial.
