Job description
Following an internal promotion, my client, a leading & successful pharmaceutical business, is looking to strengthen the Planning, Reporting & Analysis team through recruiting a Business Controller. This highly visible position will have direct responsibility for all cost analysis & reporting within the operational business, with additional responsibility for overseeing consolidated cost reporting for the UK business & involvement in business projects as necessary. You will head up a team of 3 Analysts & have key accountabilities for the following: preparation & analysis for profit & loss monthly reporting; ongoing performance & trend analysis; continual development of improved analytical reporting; providing valuable input to monthly commentary report; assisting with all cost related group reporting & analysis queries & working to develop planning & budgeting models. In addition to this, the position requires an individual who can be involved in many cross functional company & group projects providing excellent visibility & contact with all Group Companies & Senior Management. The business environment is exciting, progressive & ever-changing, requiring a highly motivated, numerate & analytical individual within this broad position. You will have previous experience of budgeting & forecasting, cost control & budget holder reporting & be looking for an opportunity to develop strong business skills across a commercial & multi-operational business.
